Jungle Jim’s International Market is a HUGE grocery store with thousands of products from over 70 countries. They have two stores in Ohio, both right outside of Cincinnati and we made the trip to both.
You will want to plan to spend at least half a day here in order to get through the whole store. Our favorite departments were the wine/beer store, toy store, cheese section, and all of the international aisles!

Jungle Jim’s is a one-stop shop for all of your grocery needs! They have an expansive selection of items, ranging from pantry staples to exotic and hard-to-find ingredients. In addition to groceries, they also have a beer and wine store, a toy store, and an international aisle with products from all over the world. They also have a deli counter and bakery for freshly prepared sandwiches, salads, and desserts.
What Should I get from Jungle Jim’s International Market?
For a truly unique experience at Jungle Jims, you can’t go wrong with any of their international food items. From exotic fruits and vegetables to hard-to-find spices, you’ll find something to satisfy your cravings.
They also have a great selection of beers and wines from around the world. For those with a sweet tooth, their bakery and deli counter offer freshly prepared sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Our favorites were the pumpkin roll and mini cakes from the bakery.
Does Jungle Jim’s International Market Have samples?
According to their website, they do offer samples however, on the three occasions we visited there were no samples. Supposedly, samples are passed out on the weekends so that could be something to look out for.

Currently, the two stores in Ohio represent the only Jungle Jim’s stores in the world. The biggest Jungle Jim’s is the Fairfield location, which is located just outside of Cincinnati.
Jungle Jim’s Fairfield is the original location, established in 1975 by the late Jim Bonaminio. The address for Jungle Jim’s in Fairfield is: 5440 Dixie Hwy, Fairfield, OH 45014.
Jungle Jim’s Eastgate is the second store, which opened in 2004. Jungle Jim’s Eastgate is located at: 4450 Eastgate S Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45245.

Yes, Jungle Jim’s was founded by the late Jim Bonaminio in 1975. He began with a roadside stand and grew it into the two-story grocery mecca that it is today. His legacy is still honored today with the Jimbo Awards, given to outstanding employees of Jungle Jim’s.
